Kansas City Chiefs Wide Receiver Justin Watson has won three Super Bowl rings, but his personal life with wife Erica Watson is just as fulfilling.
“Prioritizing family is my top priority. It’s irreplaceable. If my football career ended tomorrow, I’d still have Erica and [our son] Zion, the two most important people on earth to me,” Justin wrote in an essay for All Pro Dad in September 2024.
The couple married in June 2022 and welcomed their son Zion in April 2023. In November 2024, they announced they are expecting their second child. While Justin makes time for his family, Erica shows her support for his football career by frequently sharing photos of herself attending Chiefs games.
The couple’s journey together began in July 2021 when Justin made his first appearance on Erica’s Instagram. Erica captioned a photo of them sitting together at a restaurant, calling him “Heaven sent.”
In December 2021, Erica shared a photo of the two of them looking elegant at an event. In March 2022, Erica posted a picture of Justin proposing to her, captioning it, “I Have Found The One Whom my Soul Loves .” This engagement came just a month after Justin joined the Chiefs, having previously played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Justin and Erica tied the knot on June 4, 2022. Later that month, Erica posted photos of them enjoying their honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where they were riding an ATV on the beach, captioning it, “Honeymooning.”
In October 2022, Justin shared photos from their sex reveal celebration for their first child, captioning it, “Annnd … It’s a BOY, NEVER A DOUBT!”

By June 2023, Justin commemorated their first wedding anniversary with a heartfelt Instagram post: “I CANNOT BELIEVE I’VE BEEN MARRIED TO THIS AMAZING WOMAN FOR A YEAR! So thankful for you and a year full of joy.”
In October 2023, Erica shared a photo of herself with Justin on the field at a Chiefs game, calling herself a “Big Jwat fan.”
February 2024 marked the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVIII win, with Justin securing his third Super Bowl victory. Erica shared a photo of them on the field at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, captioning it, “3X.”
In April 2024, Justin celebrated Erica’s birthday with an Instagram post, writing, “You light up my life and I’m forever grateful for you. Happy birthday to my beautiful wife, I love you!” The post included several photos, including some of Erica with their son Zion.
In June 2024, the couple attended the Chiefs’ Super Bowl ring ceremony in Kansas City, Missouri. Justin shared a picture of them on the red carpet, captioning it, “Celebrating ring #3 with my #1.”
In November 2024, Erica posted a video of her cutting a cake that read, “Baby Watson May 2025.” The cake revealed the couple is expecting a baby girl.
By December 2024, Erica and Zion were at a Chiefs game in Cleveland, where Justin kissed her on the sidelines while holding their son. Erica captioned the Instagram photos, “Cleveland, Ohio.”
